  • Amla – 500 gms
  • Sugar – 100 gms
  • Icing sugar – 100 gms
  • Black salt – to taste

Preparation Of Amla Candy recipe

To make the Amla Candy

  • Take amla and put in a deep freezer for 10 days.
  • Take out from the freezer and keep one day out at a normal temperature.
  • Squeeze it and remove the ice.
  • Press it and remove seeds.
  • Add 100 gms sugar and dry the amla in sunlight for 8 days.
  • Add icing sugar and black salt as per the taste.
  • The amla colour gets changed to red after it dries up.
