Ingredients for Caprese Salad recipe

To make the Caprese Salad

  • 1 tomato sliced thickly
  • ¼ cup basil leaves
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 4 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper for taste

Preparation of Caprese Salad recipe

To make the Caprese Salad

  • The tomatoes should be sliced and it should be ¼ inch in thickness. Do the same while cutting mozzarella.

  • Alternate layers should be arranged to make the salad. So, for the arrangement, first are tomatoes, then cheese, then basils. Make the salad as shown in the picture below.
