Ingredients for Carrot Halwa recipe

To make the  Carrot Halwa

  • 250 grams grated carrot
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pista
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almond
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cashew
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Preparation of Carrot Halwa recipe

To make the Carrot Halwa

  • In a pan add ghee, grated carrot and cook on medium flame for 5 min.
  • Then add milk and cook till milk absorbed.
  • Then add sugar and cook till sugar melt
  • Then add milk powder and cardamom powder mix well till lumpy.
  • Then add half of the dry fruits and mix it.
  • Then sprinkle dry fruit.
  • Press halwa in any shape mould or bowl.
  •  De-mould it in serving the dish and garnish with rest of the dry fruits.

Recipe notes


  • U can add mava instead of milk powder.
