Let us see another lovely mother-son story – Cutest Story By Asha Johari!
This touching incidence happened when my loving son was just 5 years old.
I remember his day-long tiny little mischiefs exclusively and I am so proud to share this. Often, my son used to weep sitting alone in the car or in the park & used to murmur seeing the sky. I noticed many times those pearls like tears on his little cheeks. Bothered, I asked him” What happened” but always he used to say “ kuch nahi Ma” and always tried to convince me to ignore it.
But as days passed, his weeping did not stop. I noticed this many more times and I really got worried about his behaviour. I shared this concern with my hubby and hence we thought of taking him to a counsellor. But first, we decided to ask him together that what was bothering him.
To my surprise, he answered our question. He started crying and said to his father “Mama is suffering from memory loss. She has the same disease (Alzheimer’s) which the actress suffers in the movie “U, Me and Hum”. He cried profusely and said “Mamma muje jaldi bhool jayege, she will not remember both of us”.
The moment we heard those words, tears rolled out on our cheeks and I hugged him tightly. Later I asked him why he felt like that? And, then he told that he was relating me with small-small incidents. The incidents were where I used to forget few things in day to day life like “where did I keep my specs”, “did I switch off the gas knob”, “did I lock the door or not”, and many more.
This incident is engraved on my heart and whenever I think about it, I have teary eyes. Someone has truly said: a mother is the first love of her son, and a son is a whole world for his mother.
