Let us see another beautiful mother-daughter story – Cutest Story By Krati Joshi!
Ever since I came to know about this contest ‘Cutest Story’, I was wondering how I can pick a moment which is cutest. For a mother, each and every act of her little one is a cute one. And it’s really very hard to pick an instance.
But what happened yesterday to me was that one moment which I can say as the cutest moment. And, hence sharing this wonderful incidence with you all.
My daughter Sara is 2.5 years old. Being a daughter of a working mother, she started to go to day-care from the age of 1. Since then, I ensured that before going to the day-care, she goes to the little ‘mandir’ (temple) at our home and pray. So, whenever she goes to the temple, she folds her hands in front of God and gives thanks to the Almighty for all the blessings given to her.
So when she is in the temple, she says to God so cutely: ‘God, I am going to school, bye.’ And then she folds her hands.
One day she was not feeling very well but was ready to go to the day-care. So, I told her to pray to God to keep her well throughout the day. Then, she said ‘God, I am going to school. Please take care of my health. Bye’. And she left for the day-care happily.
Yesterday I took off from my office and while I was feeding her breakfast, I said to her ‘Sara, please eat fast. Mumma has severe pain in her tummy and is not feeling well’. After that, she nicely finished her breakfast and got ready.
Before leaving for the day-care, she went to the ‘mandir’ and said bye to her ‘God’ and came back to say bye to me as well. When she came to me, very innocently she told me: ‘Mumma, I have said goodbye to God and told him that: God, please take care of my mumma’s tummy and keep her well’. I could sense how much worried she was feeling. My eyes were filled with all tears and I was speechless at that moment.
I really can’t express how I felt after listening to that super cute action of Sara. I love her so much 🙂 and I feel that she is really growing up to be my best friend.
