Ingredients for Dink laddu recipe

To make the Dink laddu

  • 250 gm jaggery
  • 250 gm grated dry coconut
  • 100 gm dink ( Edible gum)
  • 250 gm kharik powder(dry dates)
  • 250 gm pure cow ghee
  • 1/4cup mix dry fruits(walnut, Almonds and cashews nuts)
  • 1 nutmeg
  • 1/4cup poppy seeds

Preparation of Dink laddu recipe

To make the Dink laddu

  • Heat up a pan on medium heat.
  • Add poppy seeds and roast until they turn little reddish.
  • Add grated coconut and fry until it turns reddish.
  • Transfer the roasted coconut and poppy seeds into the bowl.
  • Add ghee in the pan and add chopped dry fruits to fry and transfer in a bowl.Dink laddu
  • Now add ghee and fry dink until it puffs up.
  • In the same pan add kharik powder and fry it about 3-4 min and transfer in a bowl.Dink laddu
  • In the pan add jaggery on medium flame until it melts.
  • Now in a bowl mix everything and grind it in a mixer.Dink laddu
  • Make small laddus.
  • Ready to serve.Dink laddu

Tips

  • Another way to fry dink is to rub little ghee on it and keep in microwave for a minute or two It saves your time of frying dink.
