Ingredients for Dry Fruit Diya Bati recipe

To make the Dry Fruit Diya Bati

  • 1 cup Dates chopped
  • 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup dry fruits chopped
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut (nariyal bura)
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 drop yellow colour
  • 2 drop Vanilla essence
  • 2 drop kesar essence

Preparation Of Dry Fruit Diya Bati recipe

To make the Dry Fruit Diya Bati

  • Firstly deseeds date and chop them.
  • Then put in a mixer jar and grind them.
  • Now take a pan put ghee and roast dry fruit and take out in a plate.
  • In the same pan, roast poppy seeds.
  • Add dates mixture with poppy seeds and cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Now add dry fruit and mix well.
  • Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
  • When the mixture cools down a little bit then make a round ball and give diya shape.
  • Now for stuffing take a bowl. Add desiccated coconut, milk, vanilla essence and mix well. Keep aside
  • For making bati, take a bowl and add desiccated coconut, yellow food colour, kesar essence or (milk if needed). Mix well and give bati shape.
  • Now fill the stuffing in diyas. Put Bati on top of it and garnish with some pistachios.
  • Now enjoy the dry fruit diya bati sweet in an innovative way.

Tips

  • Don’t overcook the dates mixture. You can add any dry fruit as per your like.
