Dry Fruit Laddoos are easy to make and are jam-packed with flavours, fibres, goodness of nuts which is very essential for the overall development. A perfect short break snack all will gobble them up happily and keep their energy levels going during the day. These laddoos can be made in advance and stored in a container and relished as and when required.

Ingredients for Dry Fruit Laddoos recipe

To make the Dry Fruit Laddoos

  • 1 cup dates deseeded and chopped
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons almonds/badam
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 2 tablespoons small green pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon chironji or chiroli
  • 2 tablespoons cashews
  • 2 teaspoon poppy seeds /posto dana
  • 1/8th teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 8-9 whole dry figs chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 2 green cardamoms powdered

Preparation Of Dry Fruit Laddoos recipe

To make the Dry Fruit Laddoos

  • Firstly roast the almonds and cashews separately in a pan till they get slightly browned.
  • In a dry grinder add the chopped dates, figs, raisins, almonds, desiccated coconut, pistachios, cinnamon powder and elaichi/cardamom powder.
  • Add the cashews and grind to a roughly coarse mixture and spread on a tray or plate or take the mixture in a bowl.
  • Add poppy seeds and mix well.
  • Make small balls with your hands and the dry fruit ladoos are ready.
  • Serve the dry fruits laddoos immediately or store in an air tight container and refrigerate.

Recipe notes


  • Dry fruit laddoos stay good for 2 weeks so very apt for gifting purpose.
  • Sugar can be added if required
