  • 500 gram carrot
  • 1 litre milk
  • 250 gram sugar
  • 1 spoon cardamom powder
  • 10-12 chopped cashew and almonds
  • 2 tablespoon clarified butter

Preparation Of Gajar Ka Halwa recipe

To make the Gajar Ka Halwa

  • Peel and wash carrots.
  • Grate in a grater.
  • Boil milk in a wok and add grated carrots.
  • Let it cook on medium flame.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • When it turns thick and carrot absorbs the milk completely, add sugar and stir continuously.
  • Let the sugar syrup dissolve in carrot.
  • Mix clarified butter, cardamom powder, and cashew-almonds.
  • Mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Let it cool and serve.
