A finger licking, temptingly tasty and winter special fruits guava chutney, goes well with any snack, puri, paratha, thepla, idli, dosa etc. Guava is known for its medicinal properties, it is a rich source of vitamin-C and dietary fibre, good for digestion, helps prevent bad breath, regulates intestine, clears skin pigmentation etc. This one is our traditional age old unique chutney, which is not known to all, so today I’m sharing a very easy peasy tasty Indian jelly.

Ingredients for Guava Chutney recipe

To make the Guava Chutney

  • Ripe fresh Guavas 2 -3
  • Chopped fresh coriander 1 cup
  • Green chillies 2-3
  • Cumin seeds/ jeera 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped jaggery/ gud 1/2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves 5-8
  • Black salt or common salt 1/2 teaspoon

Preparation Of Guava Chutney recipe

To make the Guava Chutney

  • Wash guavas, coriander and green chillies.
  • Chop everything roughly.
  • In a mixer jar, take chopped guava, coriander, green chillies, jaggery, cumin seeds, black salt and garlic cloves.Guava Chutney Recipe
  • Close the lid, grind it into a uniform smooth mixture.
