Ingredients for Mini Baked Donuts recipe

To make the Mini Baked Donuts 

For the Dough

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1½ teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

For chocolate glaze

  • ¾ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • sprinkles (optional)

Preparation of Mini Baked Donuts Recipe

To cook the Mini Baked Donuts 

For the dough

  • Heat the milk, water and butter over medium heat, until it is slightly warm in touch (about 95 degrees to 100 degrees).
  • Mix the flour with salt and cinnamon, in a bowl of an electric mixer planted with a dough hook attachment.
  • Add a mixture of yeast and milk to a low speed until the dough starts coming together, for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Increase the speed in the medium and until the dough becomes smooth (it will be very sticky), the mixture will continue for 5 minutes more.Mini Baked Donuts
  • Transfer the dough lightly with large quantities of grease with nonstick spray. Cover the plastic sheets with loose and increase the double size at room temperature, up to about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and take a mini donut mould.

  • Keep the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

For chocolate glaze

  • Combine the sugar of confectioners with a small bowl, cocoa powder, milk, cream and vanilla together with sugar.
  • Immerse each donut in a glass cover, so that it can be taken about halfway.Mini Baked Donuts
  • Stop adding additional glaze and keep the uncontrollable side on the baking sheet. Top with a sprinkle, if the desired glass cover will be set in approximately 5 to 6 minutes.Mini Baked Donuts
