Ingredients for Petha Gujiya recipe

To make the Petha Gujiya

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Chironji nuts
  • 1 tbsp Raisins
  • 4 tbsp dry fruits powder
  • 4 tbsp grated coconut
  • 50 gm Petha
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder
  • Oil or Ghee for frying
  • Green food colour

Preparation Of Petha Gujiya recipe

To make the Petha Gujiya

  • Mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour & 1 tbsp Ghee.
  • Add water step by step & make a medium soft dough.
  • Keep it for 10 minutes.
  • Mix chironji nuts, raisins, dry fruit powder, grated coconut, cardamom powder & grated petha to make stuffing.
  • Add red food colour to one part of the dough.
  • Make green & white poori.
  • Cut white poori & stick it with red poori using all-purpose flour slurry.
  • Place stuffing & make gujiya.
  • Heat oil or ghee & fry on low flame.
  • Serve it hot or cold.

  • Use gujiya maker to make the gujiyas.
