How to prepare a vegetable garden?
Plan the garden
- Start with deciding what you want to actually grow in your garden. What are the vegetables that you like and your family likes? Think about all of this and then plan accordingly. Different plants and vegetables grow in a different climate.

Get the plant ready
- Start with buying seeds for your plants and vegetables. Buy it from a nursery. Also, find out the tools that you need to buy.
- Next thing that you have to do is, make use of a soil tiller to get up the dirt and make a perfect plot. If you want a small vegetable garden, then go for a hoe. However, for big gardens, you will need to buy a soil tiller.
- Finally, you have to get the soil ready. So, for the same, mark the vegetable garden area corners using rocks. Free the area up for the plants and vegetables to suffice.
Growing the vegetables
- Time to dig the holes and plant your seeds. Make sure to add a little fertilizer to every hole that you make and then drop the seeds right into the soil. Ensure to cover the layers of the holes and the topsoil.
- Don’t forget to water the garden for the initial weeks. Do this till the vegetables get their roots out. This is probably needed to keep the topsoil moist.
- Soon you will see the vegetable garden sprouting. Take good notice on the veggies that you want. Grasp all the weeds keeping them very close to the roots. Gently take those out and throw them to avoid spreading.
- Provide extensive care to the veggies growing in your vegetable garden. Do it as per the requirements of the vegetables. Give them water and fertilizer as and when required.
