Ingredients for Special Mooli Paratha recipe

To make the Special Mooli Paratha

For dough

  • Wheat Flour 2 cup
  • All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Water – enough to make a soft dough

For stuffing

  • Grated Mooli (raddish) 2
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Oil 2 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Dhaniya powder 1 teaspoon
  • Lal mirch 1 teaspoon
  • Bharwa Masala 1 teaspoon (optional )
  • Kasuri Methi 1 teaspoon

To serve

  • curd
  • pickle

Preparation Of Special Mooli Paratha recipe

To make the Special Mooli Paratha

  • Combine all the ingredients (wheat flour, maida, salt, oil) in a bowl and knead into a soft dough using little water if required.
  • Now grate mooli. After that squeeze of all the water from the grated mooli as much as you can and take it in a bowl.
  • Combine all the spices (dhaniya powder, jeera, lalmirch, bharwa masala, besan) of stuffing along with green coriander and keep aside.
  • Now take a dough small ball and roll it out into a small circle using dry flour and then take an equal amount of dough to make another circle.
  • Spread stuffing on one side of the circle leaving the sides.
  • Grease the sides with little water and then place another circle on it and press the sides.
  • Now using a rolling pin roll out the paratha little bigger.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa and cook each paratha using 1/4 teaspoon of oil till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  • Keep aside to cool slightly.
  • Mooli paratha is ready.
  • Serve with curd, chutney, pickle, etc.

Recipe notes


  • Make sure you squeeze water from the grated mooli properly.
