Ingredients for Spinach Thepla recipe

To make the Spinach Thepla

  • 2 & 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1&1/2 cup spinach puree
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
  • 1 tablespoon green chilli paste
  • 1/4 cup oil

To serve

Preparation Of Spinach Thepla recipe

To make the Spinach Thepla

  • In a mixing bowl add all above ingredients except oil.
  • Make the dough with spinach puree. The dough must be like that of paratha dough.
  • Make small sized balls from the dough and roll it in an oval shape with the help of a rolling pin.
  • Cook it on the tawa from both sides by adding 1 teaspoon oil.
  • Serve hot with tadka curd or plain curd, as per your choice.

Tips

  • Add raw spinach puree as then the colour of the thepla with bright green as my favourite.
