  • 2/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cut into small chunks, plus more for greasing
  • 1 large egg yolk at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup low-fat milk
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large egg whites at room temperature
